Chandler Meyer A Critique of The Impressionist styles of Chandler Meyer and Gauguin The following is a critique of both impressionist exposures Gauguins lament de Tahiti and my painting The cheering most Moon. His brush strokes consist of dabby strokes of many contrastive colors that are spread out throughout the painting which was also kept the same in my painting. The color that was a good make love ap ply were different dark glasses of green, my thought was he use many greens because he wanted to emphasize the too-generous feeling around the Island, and the sense of fresh green rolled hills. I wanted to keep that same feeling of the appoint and fauna so I put the same shades of greens. To conclude my psychoanalysis there are phantasmas on the far right position which to me indicated the sun is going down and casting a tail end towards that side. What truly captivates me about this bewitching piece of artwork is that Gauguin almost catches the painting in a frozen in time moment. The ways he sens bounce reds, and purples everywhere and have it come together in an extraordinary symphony of colors!
